GVCHS was founded in 1997 to meet the need for an English medium school in Old Davanagere. The school has earned a reputation for academic excellence, achieving a 100% pass rate in 10th standard board exams for ten consecutive years. The school emphasises personalised mentoring, helping students excel in academics, sports, and cultural events. Noteworthy alumni, like Sumati Talwar from Infosys, exemplify the school’s success, while students like Chaitra P have won prestigious awards such as the Jayadeva Award and participated internationally in karate competitions. GVCHS proudly represents the values of SJJES with its focus on all-rounded development. Since 1997, 1008 of 1029 students have passed the 10th standard board examinations.
